Aegis® PCR plates: Improving Real-Time PCR results
Aegis® PCR plates are suitable for endpoint and qPCR. The clear polycarbonate shell and semiskirted
style provide sturdiness for handling with automated system, the cut corner at A12 allows for ata-
glance identifi cation of the correct plate orientation. Easy-to-read black row/column labeling adds to the
convenient handling.
Aegis® White PCR plates exhibit all advantages of Aegis® PCR plates and complement them
with white wells for improved results when working with fluorescence, for example in qPCR. White plates
are recommended when working with low copy samples and maximum fluorescence sensitivity is required.
Aegis® Fast PCR plates are designed to withstand the strain of fast PCR programs with their
fast temperature changes, high ramp speed and shirt hold time. The lower height of the plates reduces
evaporation and improves thermal conductivity.
